10:22 pm - Zombie 3
Last night I was watched Zombie 3, an italian horror/gore movie. Originally intended to be the sequel of Lucio Fulci's masterpiece "Zombi 2" (aka Zombie in the USA), Zombie 3 was railroaded into massive hackdom (all things are relative here people) when Lucio Fulci fell deathly ill in pre-production and had to turn the reigns over the hackmaster Bruno Mattei.

The dialog in it's native Italian is probably sucktacular to start with, but when combined with a dodgy translation 'n dub into english, it becomes unusually entertaining. Here's a couple of my favorite examples:

Some soldiers are driving in a jeep listening to the radio, where this local DJ "Blue Heart" is rocking out some weird tunes.

SOLDIER 1: "This Blueheart's music is great, eh?"
SOLDIER 2: "Yah! It's making me horny!"

In another scene a girl has been pecked by a zombie bird and has fallen ill with the zombie disease. A horrible throbbing pustulous wound pops open and sprays revoltingly viscous green fluid everywhere. You'd think her friends would freak, but instead one of her sorority sisters says, "ooh... blood."

What kind of tards are they letting into sororities in Italy? Even the wastoids in the USA can tell green goo from blood.

My god that is a good movie.

Half a sandwich (swiss & havarti on a ciabatta roll with vegies), a little fresh cole slaw, a few salt-cured black olices, and a nice cabernet.

This is one of my favorite photo-journals. This fellow takes a picture of just about everything he eats. Despite the lame poser name ("cypher"), it's really entertaining.
